• Is home watch the same as....?

Home watch is often referred to by various terms, such as house watch, house sitter, home check, absentee home service, caretaker, or property watch. At Snowbird Home Watch, we see ourselves as more than just a home watch service; we are your trusted home advocate while you are away. Our professional team conducts regular and thorough checks on your property, ensuring it remains secure and well-maintained. We are trained, insured, bonded, and undergo background checks to provide you with the highest level of service. Discover more about your options for a reliable home watch provider by exploring our blog.

  • What is the price?

Our service pricing is tailored to the unique needs of each home and property. Instead of providing estimates over the phone, we believe in the importance of a personalized approach. During your Personal Home Evaluation, we'll provide you with an accurate estimate. Our pricing is based off of square footage of the home, the Home Watch Water Zone Methodology, size of the property and services requested.

  • What areas do you service?

Snowbird Home Watch is welcoming new clients in the Northeast metro area of the Twin Cities. Cities include North Oaks, Shoreview, White Bear Lake, Arden Hills, Vadnais Heights, Little Canada, Centerville, Circle Pines, New Brighton, and some surrounding areas. If you are outside of our service area, we are a proud member on the MN Home Watch Collaborative where you can find other reputable home watch businesses.

  • Is it just the owner that performs home watch visits, or do you have other employees?

While Ana, the owner, does conduct many of our home watch visits, we've expanded our team to better serve our clients. We now have an additional home watch reporter who assists with home visits. This dedicated team member is fully insured and bonded under our policy, has undergone a comprehensive background check, and has received thorough training to ensure the same high standards of service.

  • How often do you visit?

Snowbird Home Watch, The National Home Watch Association and The Home Watch Network, recommend a Home Watch visit is conducted every 7-10 days (at a bare minimum, every 14 days when applicable). We always suggest checking with your home insurance provider to confirm how frequently your home needs to be checked on before a potential claim is denied, typically they require every 7-10 days.

During your Home Watch Consultation visit, we will create a customized home watch plan for your home.

Our proactive approach aims to catch potential issues at their earliest stages, minimizing the risk of them becoming significant problems. The more frequent our visits, the higher the likelihood of early detection and swift resolution.

  • What other things can you help with while we are away?

At Snowbird Home Watch, our commitment extends beyond safeguarding your property. We offer a range of concierge services to make your time away worry-free. From caring for your plants, to coordinating service provider visits, overseeing appointments, and even assisting with grocery arrangements upon your return, we've got you covered. If there's anything specific you need assistance with, just let us know! If we can't handle it directly, we'll leverage our network to connect you with reliable professionals who can. Our concierge services are only available to home watch clients.
